THE MELROSE COMMUNITY
NEEDS YOUR HELP
We would like to reopen the Valet Line but we need your help! Become a Valet Volunteer today!
We need four people per day. But that doesn’t mean the same four people per day… There are many ways to volunteer.
How often do you need to volunteer?
You can volunteer one morning or as many as you can
When do we need you?
From 7:30 – 8:10 AM.
What does a Valet Volunteer do?
- You set up traffic cones to designate the valet area
- You open the child’s car door
- Help the child exit the vehicle safely
- Send the driver off with a warm farewell
- At 8:06 AM you pick up the cones with your team and place them back in the shed for the next day
How does being a Valet Volunteer help the Melrose Community?
- You will make drop off orderly, thereby lowering stress for families and neighbors
- You make the corner of Melrose and Formosa safer for those crossing the street by easing traffic build-up
Can anyone use the Valet Line?
The Valet Line is for parents who send their children to school with a printout of their Daily Pass or a device that displays their child’s Daily Pass./span>
